Servais apartment

A renovation that simplifies the internal layout and amplifies natural light, shaping a unique and harmonious space.

Located in a pleasant residential area of Turin, this apartment has been completely reimagined to bring openness and continuity to its interior spaces. At the heart of the intervention is the unification of the living area, transformed into a single, bright, and fluid environment capable of connecting the two sleeping wings of the home. The renovation removed all unnecessary partitions, turning a fragmented layout into a welcoming living space filled with natural light.
The entrance opens directly onto this new continuous space, where the kitchen, dining, and living areas coexist without rigid boundaries, creating a versatile environment—ideal for living, entertaining, and relaxing. The orientation of the rooms and the placement of the openings were carefully studied to draw light deep into the home, enhancing spatial perception and the connection between different views. Warm, neutral finishes define these spaces, creating a sense of comfort and openness.
The master bedroom maintains a more intimate atmosphere, yet remains connected to the rest of the home through a coherent and fluid layout. The ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, directly linked to the sleeping area, reflect the material and tonal choices of the overall design.
The new interior layout also includes a guest bathroom, accessible directly from the living area, as well as storage and utility spaces discreetly integrated into the design.
The result is a home that breathes: open, bright, and balanced. A space where architecture supports everyday life with simplicity and intensity.
